ri1.9.1 software package provides Ruby Interactive reference (for Ruby 1.9.1), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ri1.9.1
ri1.9.1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ri1.9.1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ri1.9.1 *
You will get with ri1.9.1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
